ooooh appears Steamy Kitchen is changing it's tactic? In the past contests I've entered from them it's merely name and email....

Posted by: Katrinabadina on January 3, 2018

Wow, they have a lot of contests. Does anyone know if they are all open to Canadians?

Posted by: Hashtagwinner on January 3, 2018

Usually all of Jaden's contests are open to Canada.

Has a Canadian ever won a Steamy Kitchen prize? I've been entering their contests left, right & center for God know's how long & I feel as if I'm wasting my time. Remember this is an American website & contest(s) so to attract people to her website (just to please her sponsors) she'll promise her contests are good for Canadians, but it doesn't mean they'll win. Any thoughts anyone??

51Rocker same here! Canadian, been entering for years and nothing.

Posted by: Platform on January 3, 2018

Count me in with 51Rocker and Platform as another Canadian who has entered a bazillion times and never won a thing from Steamy Kitchen. Same with a friend of mine who is also serious about contests. Steamy Kitchen has a large following on social media (see her FB page) and if that translates into daily entries, it isn't worth it to me anymore. I might keep going if it was all cash and cars, but not for kitchen appliances. I'm done. Good luck to all!

Thanks for the info! Sounds like the entry pool is too big and odds are very low.

Posted by: Hashtagwinner on January 4, 2018

The odds are low, yes, but you can't win if you don't enter.

I'm one of the lucky winner at Jaden's website. I have won twice :-)

Posted by: ronnieg on January 4, 2018

No win here either. Entering for years too

Posted by: anonymous on January 4, 2018

I've been entering for years too and not won a thing. I don't know where the winners are from. Her list of winners is only the prize, date won, and name. It would be nice if the home state (or province) of winners was posted.

You have a point, Kerrismom. I like to know if the winners are Canadian or not.
RonnieG is my husband and we are in Alberta. We have won twice.

I noticed that on one of her giveaway descriptions near the end of the year that she was thanking fans for the more than 7 million hits on her site, so if you were to count how many contests she ran and for how many days,,you could calculate your odds ..that said, agree with ronnieg that you have to be in it to win it. A few weeks ago, I won one of Denmark's daily trips; when I saw it was open internationally, I thought oh lord,, imagine the odds .. when I was dealing with their lawyer, I asked if he knew how many had entered every day, he said roughly 147,000!!! So, folks, maybe karma, maybe contest gods, but hey! Still fun to dream, too :-)

I am Canadian (SK) and I won this past August. My first contest win! Must be luck I guess, as for sure didn't enter everyday on that one. She sent me an Apple Gift card instead of the Apple Watch.
