I contacted them yesterday to report the issue and this is the response I received today: Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you are experiencing with entering our 2024 Diamond Sweepstakes. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps: Clear your browser cache: Sometimes, stored data in your browser can cause issues with loading pages correctly. Try using a different browser or device: Occasionally, certain browsers or devices may have compatibility issues with certain websites. Of course this is just the usual standard response they all give you when their site is having issues. It's not a cache problem. I tried entering using different browsers and even a different device and still had the same issue. It's a problem on THEIR end, but of course convincing them of that and getting them to fix it is another story. This company ran basically the same sweep last year and ended it inexplicably approximately 3 months early. When I contacted them about it, they skirted the issue and responded that the winners had been chosen and to keep an eye out for the winners' names. That of course never happened. I asked why it was ended early and they would not respond. It makes me wonder if they even give the prizes away or if it's just a marketing ploy to bring traffic to their site and hope that you will buy something. Posted by: pmbrady1 on February 16, 2024 |
