Hard to believe that these 2 watches are worth $12K. Two old friends, both longtime jewelers, told me that they've never heard of the company. One of them told me that this must be a new company and he added that it would very unlikely that a start-up would enter the market making watches that retail for 6 grand. - Regarding the taxes that a commenter estimated at "about $5,000" I think that's over the top. $3,000 would be about average unless you're in a very high tax bracket.
