Thanks to: Lynn for telling me about this one

Comments:

It's a nice gesture, but the impending lawsuit is going to cost them 100s of million more.
A little bit shameful. But otherwise I find them to be a great company.

If there is price fixing on bread - how many other staples has the consumer been screwed on?

Starts in January? Suggestion to donate the card to a food bank (on the news).

ohhhh they just got nailed today into a MUCH more serious criminal investigation. Lots heads gonna roll on this one...of course no from the top execs since they'll just use poor middle management scapegoats.

I wonder if Metro, and the other grocery stores who colluded will also "reimburse" consumers for $25?

I won a contest for $1200 in giftcards years back my opinion of this company and save on are more than favorable funny that many other retailers are staying dead silent on the bread issue lol

Ironically, it's after I lost my job at Loblaws because I had the flu, that I began entering in contests and it's how I won my trip to Rome. It was a brutal job and I was bullied. But I think everything happens for a reason, and like I've said, I won my trip after I was terminated from my job. That card is also better than nothing.

Has anyone else received an email asking for a copy of your drivers license or a utility bill to verify your claim?
Seems fishy to me

Posted by: anonymous on March 12, 2018

Yesterday I got an email asking for a driver's license id, and upon checking their website, it's the only id you can submit, they don't want your passport or Ontario photo card, so this is discrimination as they knows not everyone has driver license, and it's a clever ploy to dismiss many customers from getting the gift card.

I ever got any sort of card whatsoever and even signed up
