asdf, SMS is not required. Once you submit your name and email address you are entered, regardless of what you do on the next page that asks for your mobile number. I dumped out on that page, never filled it out, and still received an email confirmation that I was entered in the contest.

Thanks for the heads up. I used a fake email to test it & it said to use sms to complete your entry. There's no confirmation on the page either. I'd imagine it auto sends that email once you do the first part. I guess it's worth a shot though for $5,000.
