I'd read the rules on this one. There are plenty red flags. Major scam vibes. Time share nonsense at minimum.
"I am aware a representative of the Rewards Department may invite me to take advantage of a vacation and other incentives in exchange for participating in A PRESENTATION OF VACATION OWNERSHIP PLANS"

@asdf -- an "invitation" is just that -- not a requirement to win the prize.

not this particular contest, but another one sponsored by Nerdz to win a trip to Disney in either Anaheim or Orlando - got a call. They wanted to confirm a bunch of info including my spouse's name.
I have problem hearing on the phone due to my hearing loss and there was a ton of background noise. I requested that they email me any information they wanted me to have due to trouble hearing. They insisted that I had to receive their "giveaway details" over their recorded line. After several attempts on my part to get this information another way I just hung up. I did not like their methods

I've said it with each Event Nerdz contest, it is a scam. Or at least was. I "won", they called me and required me to go to a TOTALLY-not-a-timeshare presentation. With their program, you buy points to use on vacations. I nope'd out of it, after seeing several "winner" comments on Facebook: one lady's Disney trip required 3 layovers starting at midnight and one Hawaii vacation winner never received the trip took after declining the point purchase.
The company's parent company is Global Travel Network, from what I remember. Event Nerdz's Facebook posts usually have commenters saying they were lead along but the posts quickly get deleted.
