Is this time a time share marketing ?

Posted by: idosew on February 17, 2024

I feel like I am missing something. I have 101 sweepstakes entries, but I don't know that I entered the instant win.

Has anyone ever seen an announcement of a winner for any of their other year long promotions? This one was one of the biggest pain in the rears last year.

auto-dialed and pre-recorded messages including SMS, and calls (regardless of do-not-call registration) regarding timeshare promotional offers, products and services.

I don't recall ever getting phone calls from them in the past.

Posted by: Sweeps2021 on February 17, 2024

I just copied that from the rules sweeps. Nice to know that they don't in fact
call though.

You have to log into their website after you are emailed a code and tell them which grand prize you want? And we don't get to play the instant win? Am I reading that correctly?

Posted by: chelleknel on February 17, 2024

FunGuy, I did a search on my text messages and I don't have ANY from them. Typed WYN and Wyndham. Could be a think where they target particular zip codes, so your results may vary.

As for the instant win LAST YEAR, it was always a different aspect of the promotion. I would enter it on my phone, copy the winning prize (code for more entries) and then click on another link to go to the sweepstakes page. It was a pain in the rear and I don't recall anyone ever posting that they won an instant win prize other than more sweepstakes entries.

Not sure if this promotion is like that or not. It's a nice prize but not sure I'm going to commit to this pain in the rear promotion again.

Yeah I think I'll skip it then. Not worth the hassle of a potential sales pitch.
But that sure is a great prize. Would be nice to break my dry spell with a

You DO NOT want a time share/vacation share. THEY
can raise your fee up at any time you can be accessed fees at anytime. This IS NOT an asset you want because it will Rob you of your money and you will not get to chose your location or time. Do NOT sign up for timeshares it is a BAD Deal.

Joshua is giving good advice. Happy timeshare owners are about as rare as
FIVE leaf clovers

Most timeshares now do have flexibility on time & location (often for additional fee) but they are a scam nonetheless.

I did win a instant win from them on their last contest - I think it was a $5 or $3 amazon gift card, not much considering I entered daily for 360ish days. Never had gotten a timeshare call from them

Posted by: typeusername on February 18, 2024

Wow. Said that the only instant win I've heard about is a tiny Amazon gift card.

Posted by: Sweeps2021 on February 18, 2024

Last year I won the $3 gc. I didn't even know that I won it b/c every day I received the 50 bonus entry code and yet an e-mail turned up that I had won.

Posted by: BAILEYGINGER on February 18, 2024

I've never received any calls from them. Thankfully

Posted by: BAILEYGINGER on February 18, 2024

I never received the $15 code that it had said I won last week
