Any contest with a prize over $5k will often exclude NY and FL becuz those states make you register and post a bond which is a pain the a$$ so it's easier to just not allow residents from those states to enter. Posted by: IVYPENN on July 1, 2025 |
I've seen FL excluded from contests that don't even have a prize worth 5K. One person told me it's cos when the company hears that FL requires registration for a certain amount, it's either just not to bother with FL at all. Posted by: dav997 on July 1, 2025 |
