The hoops they make you jump thru! geez!

Wow that makes that so unfair for Canadians, the amount of stamps and envelopes we need to buy is unbelievable. They should have made an online entry version for Canadians

Posted by: BigSister1 on November 9, 2019

Yep. I wonder which particularly unclear law [Canadian and / or USA] causes this problem.

Posted by: wilson on November 9, 2019

Or since it is a United States company, just exclude Canadians altogether.

Since the topic of fair was brought up!

Does writing "Free matter for the blind" in the postage section work in Canada?

The whole mail-in NPE thing is a ridiculous loophole to get around lottery regulations anyway, because nobody isceger going to actually do that -- the stamp costs more than its worth! We should be pushing our representatives to fix it. Make an online, non-hidden NPE required.

agree with michael, we have no shot against Americans.

Posted by: BigSister1 on November 9, 2019

If they wanted a Canadian to win, they would have an online form. Lots of other companies do. My guess is that mail-in entries go directly into the garbage. The first time that an American company sends me an email about a contest that excludes Canadians, I unsubscribe. If they want Canadian business they should include us in their marketing/contests. At the very least, since most companies gather country information, they should be more selective about their email campaigns.

Shoot I wanna move to Canada. 90% of the winners listed weekly are from a Canada only contest. It used to be distributed better but now you just don't see the wins on the U.S. side much anymore.

It's all relative.

Posted by: Parallel on November 9, 2019

Maybe we are just more likely to report in to contestgirl when we win, or the hobby is just more popular here.

Posted by: michaelhall1k on November 9, 2019

This is a big scam.

Posted by: Bonsai on November 9, 2019

been entering since 1969 and alli get are tokens i'd like to meet a real pch winner

Posted by: raymondjdalysr on November 9, 2019

I've been entering for decades, in 2017 I received an unexpected $10 check from them that I immediately deposited in the bank. Not exactly a great ROI (Return On Investment)!!!!

Posted by: h20k9 on November 9, 2019

same here h20 ,last year out of the blue got a $10 check from PCH been also entering for decades. I never ordered anything from them either.

Posted by: bunkydust on November 9, 2019

I entered my mom and myself for about two years. That was when you could phone in.
Every time I asked about rules, they changed. How many entries allowed per day, etc.
Once, I asked how many entries there had been for the past contest and was told there had been over 3,000,000,000 entries.

SAVE your postage costs! as a canadian i did mail them a letter and it was RETURNED TO ME as REFUSED! now get a load of that crap! ;(( waste of my time and money!

Posted by: hopebc53 on November 10, 2019

I had forgotten what a scam this is!

Posted by: 1ranburd on November 10, 2019

When I was in high school, in the 80s, I used to enter via mail with my parents permission. We won a big box of "stuff" from PCH. I don't recall all that was in it, but I do still have the Betty Crocker Cookbook that was one of the items in the box.LOL!

From the rules:
odds of winning the $2,500 a week for life...
1 in 920,000,000
odds of winning the $1,000,000...
1 in 3,840,000,000

How many people in your country? How many countries does it take to make that number of entries. For the $1,000,000 it is 3.8 billion entries. Wow!

Posted by: Alex on November 10, 2019

In my daily email(s) from them they all but say that you have no chance of winning unless you buy something. Legal: maybe or maybe not
