Be prepared for multiple phone calls.

They must not like me, I've been entering their sweepstakes for quite awhile and have never received a phone call, postcards and letters but never a call. Lucky me!

Anyone ever win anything from them? They seem to run this contest often, but I've never seen anyone say they won

Posted by: littleminxgirl on February 10, 2020

Entered a few times in the past and they still call years later!

Posted by: abitaman on February 10, 2020

tylertee they have never called me either. Guess they figure my windows don't need to be replaced or perhaps I am just unloved! :-)

no calls here either

They must have some criteria they use to decide who to call. Perhaps they are more active in the areas where they call nonstop. I know they advertise in my area so they must have plenty of installers working my area.

They became so annoying that I added them into my Contacts so I could immediately identify their calls. The last couple of times I took their call I told them I lost my job so I am hoping they scrub me off of their list.

Personally I think it is an idiotic way to conduct business. Because of the nonstop calls, despite selecting the option that I did not want contacted, I will not even consider them when I do get new windows.

I think it is the dealer they "assign" you too that determines if you get calls or not. some dealers are very agressive and will call constantly, not realizing that the sales leads they are given are not sales leads from people wanting windows but are contesters. who ever is running contests like this they figure we all need windows so they match up entrants to whatever dealer is in their area.

sweepsaddict, that is exactly how I feel about sweepstakes that you have to have all the social media or part of to enter their sweepstakes. If I can't enter then I won't buy their products.

Is this a daily or single entry? It also said at the bottom of the entry form in tiny print that you will have to answer a skill based mathematical question without assistance by phone if you win. I'm new to sweepstakes but thought that was weird

Posted by: indoorkitty on February 11, 2020

indoorkitty, according to Canadian law we have to verify that we are competent in our own financial affairs and they are protecting us by making us be at least able to understand a math question. Some ancient belief lol. Serious contesters always have a reliable calculator near their phone but contest sponsors are awesome people. they usually give you a couple of minutes and the math question is often very simple. I won a big screen tv a few years ago and the question was 100 minus 80 plus ten equals? Most contests however, send you an email with the math question in the email so you have tons of time to do it and verify it. I have noticed in the past year that a lot of the emails are self returnable, fill in the blanks and send back. It used to be that you printed them out, filled them and then scanned back or faxed or mailed.

I was told that my zip code makes me ineligible to enter

Posted by: MimiFor5 on April 10, 2020

I got multiple calls within hours of each other yesterday. Made for about 4 calls this week. Asked to be removed from the call list and she said sure no problem...I'm guessing it can't be that easy though.

Have been entering Renewal By Andersen sweeps for quite a while now and I have never been called by them when I left the 'contact me' box unchecked.
