I did this promotion last year for a month or so and it was time consuming trying to find the correct answer. I believe I only submitted a correct answer once. I suspect many of you will still take a crack at it, and only a few of you will till be entering through 1/5/21.

"Duluth Trading Company will select two (2) Weekly Prize winners from among all eligible/correct answers of Weekly Drawing entries received during such Week"

A google image search says it is a metal working hand tool

tin snips

Posted by: boops on May 10, 2020

From my experience, the tools usually had pretty unique answers.

The prize isn't worth the aggravation to me, but I do hope someone from here wins

I will try my best to help. This weeks tool is:

Iron Hammer Prybar Crate Opener (Hammer with spade spike)

Good luck!

I may not be good at this contest, but I find it fun It reminds me of the "what is it " segment at the end of this old house.

Crate Hammer is answer given in contest,

FYI-Crate hammer is the answer for last week. They show the previous week's answer not the current week.

I hope this is not too late, but I believe this weeks tool is:

Antique Land Surveyors Tree Scribe (Handle with hook, pick, and flat head screw driver head on side)

Good luck!

RACE KNIFE is answer given

Posted by: joshua1987 on May 27, 2020

I hope they are taking into consideration other terms/names for the tool. Here is a definition of a race knife:

Race knife also known as a timber scribe (scorer, tree marker) is a knife with a U-shaped end sometimes called a scoop knife for cutting marks in wood by lumbermen, carpenters, coopers, surveyors, and others.

So, a tree scribe is another name for that tool.

Are they that specific in this contest? If so, then it really is not worth the effort.

Well, we will see how this one goes.....According to my research, this weeks tool is a:

Timber framing slick

If it somehow turns out to be splinter remover, then I quit this contest.

This week: 5/29 After I submitted, I clicked SHOW ME THE ANSWER

Posted by: crandreww on May 29, 2020

circle cutter drill bit

Posted by: douglasrowe on June 28, 2020

Thanks Doug....

Let's hope they don't try to call it something else, like a "hair curling" attachment for Edward Scissorhands.

Posted by: JC2533 on June 28, 2020

Well Doug, it turned out to be a washer cutter.....This contest is not worth the effort.

Thanks for trying though.
