Be very careful on this contest. They are saying I have ordered a subscription.

I was also told I ordered a subscription and I didn't.

Thanks for the info Skorpil, I think that happened to me when I entered the House Beautiful Daily Sweeps. These magazine sweepstakes are very tricky. You have to double check before hitting the submit button, but sometimes even if you fill out the correct form, you still get a subscription.

This one apparently is not set up right at their end. Usually when you click submit on the day's entry, you get a page that will have the link for the "not with purchase" entry. This one doesn' takes you directly to the form and apparently it is the one that sets up a subscription for you.

Says it's not accepting entries. I think they don't have it "live" at their end yet for December....

I did hit the no subscription entry which came up, but after filling it out it just said thank you. I think this means that a subscription went through and this has happened to me several times and I get so tired of it. Does anyone even win any of these so called $250,000 contests, because I never have heard of anyone winning. If I won I'd shout it from the roof tops!

When I tried to enter the "No purchase entry option" didn't even come up, it took me straight to the entry page.
I checked my email and I received an email staing, "Thank you for your subscription."

Sweepstakes subscription orders

If you accidentally submitted a subscription order while entering a sweepstakes and wish to cancel it, please allow at least 24 hours for your order to apply to our system. Choose “Cancel My Subscription” from the menu options on the left side of the screen after accessing your account online. You will be instructed how to cancel your most recent order.

"after accessing your account"....I don't have an account with any magazine website so I can never cancel. I just received an invoice for this magazine today. I've been sending a typed note back to them and letting them know there is no "no purchase link" on their site.

Please see my message on the Good Housekeeping post you just made telling you how to deal with this problem.

Dang! ....they just trapped me into getting a subscrption. I thought I was careful. Watch out folks!

I've been entering these every day. Now I get the message that I can only enter ONCE. Checked the rules and it does say one entry per person AND more than one entry will disqualify you....:(

Thanks--I've changed to single entry for this one. Always check the rules for each one though, as they can change.

Most of these contests are now per day, except the last one.
