No one ever answers this question, but why try to cheat Rickstar1? Does karma never cross your mind when trying to win something. We posted our links less than 15 seconds apart, so it was clearly intentional cheating. If that one whole entry is worth that much to you, find someone else to send your referral link to, instead of screwing someone else.

I might be wrong but what might be happening with rickstar1 is that he posts his referral link right away without having completed an action in the entry form that is usually required to get the referral credit. He might leave the page on and complete it later and then the referral credit kicks in. Just a though, I try to complete an action before posting however we have to be quick so I would be lying if I said I haven't done it before. But the important part is to complete an action, if not no referral credit is given.

I had the same problem a while back flagged by anti spam system, you can maybe first try by resetting your user profile with SweepWidget, look at the bottom, there might be a loggin issue. If not you can contact them.

I think that does happen with some people Mattila, but Rickstar1 tried to blatantly cheat. That's the only reason I called them out instead of just reposting my link. He posted his link 12 seconds after I posted mine. I kept refreshing the page repeatedly to check, by watching what time our posted times changed. I did it twice to verify. There's no way he happened to copy my link the very second it was posted, jump to the page, enter his info, hit submit, scroll down to expand the referral link, copy it, and come back and paste his link and hit send within 12 seconds.

I would say that this sweep has my info auto-populated, and all I have to do is hit "Submit" and then click the "copy link" button by the Referral section, switch windows and post my link. I can do all that in 10 seconds or less, and regularly do.
But this sweep won't let me hit "Submit" on the auto-populated info. :p
If you didn't get the credit, maybe he cheated, or maybe mathilda is right. In which case, no one has ever gotten a referral bonus from me, because I never take actions first if I don't *have* to. No one has complained about me so far, that I've seen.

Same for me ScritchScratch, to be quick, I use 2 browsers with one being logged into my gleam account and the other browser being locked out of it so I gather the information, then I simply copy the referral link into the logged in browser so not having to waste time by reconnecting everytime between each contest. This way will save you lots of time if you do it on only one browser like I used to in the beginning.

And for asdf, yeah I know that you've had a lot of problems with rickstar1 in the past as well, anyways it sucks when people only think about themselves without having any empathy for others on how their actions might negatively affect them and their day. And if its intentional then it will end up bitting them in the arse sonner or later.
