shouldn't this posting be edited to have the link be for the AMOE? to make things easier

@ xthebradx

I would agree with you on that idea too.

When I submitted the "Jeep Wrangler" sweeps,
I imputed the direct AMOE entry link method.

But, for some reason Linda changed it to
the normal general entry form method...

Please move to Odd Entry - 20 free entries (each month) can be entered all at once, so no need to return and submit one entry per day until you reach 20.

Well that's a huge bummer. No more free entries from One Country. The legally required "free entry" now costs 78 per entry. It looks like they've done it for all their giveaways as well. I can't afford to waste $15 per month (for each contest), so I'm out.

Yup. All heir rules changes as of 2/2/26.

Posted by: tunaslayer on February 2, 2026

Isn't changing the rules in the middle of the contest a violation of their bonding regulations?

Posted by: tunaslayer on February 2, 2026

Possibly. Google seems to think so...

Legal Standing: Rules must be "set in stone" upon commencement. Changing them can result in high penalties, especially if a bond was filed.

Consequences: Changing rules mid-stream can lead to legal action, FTC investigations for deceptive practices, and severe damage to the sponsor's reputation.

It looks like you have to print and mail in for free entries now. Today, rather than a 'Submit' button, it's a 'Print' button which opens a PDF.

This one has always seemed iffy to me. There are certainly better ways to put limits on free entry. Changing the rules just pisses people off. I'm out. GLTA

@bmc123456: I think the people who entered the "normal" way would (1) not know of this change and (2) be delighted if they knew.

If anyone is willing to mail in entries...consider that using their paid entry method ($0.17 per entry?) would probably be cheaper :).

yes, for a stamp for the usa for me its like 140 so , wonder if there is a way to pay for the entries its dheaper for canadian

Ive emailed Onecountry re their AMOE entry methods, sent to support@onecountry.com
I stated our new policy of Alternate Means of Entry into your great sweepstakes. Printing a sheet of paper and MAILING it in, is NOT free. Please restore the previous AMOE entry

Posted by: crandreww on February 16, 2026

Well done, crandreww. But I'm pretty sure that's still considered free. Sweepstaking/contesting back in the day (pre-Internet) was ALL about mailing in entries...

@kenmaingot And before that, couriers. Human, pigeon, or owl.
