Yes, most sites say 1912, but the Calgary Stampede itself says: "Since 1886, the Calgary Stampede has been a place where organizations, the community and visitors from around the world have gathered." www.calgarystampede.com/stampede/about
So which answer will Landmark accept??
Anyway, if you win and don't go to the event, you still get the other Gift Cards.

this is what i see...
1886 The first Calgary agricultural fair was held.
1912 The first Calgary Stampede rodeo took place.
1923 The Stampede and the Calgary Exhibition merged, creating the annual event we know today.
so the answer is 1912 as per Rodeo
